CaraCo “Follow & Give” Holiday Promotion – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: November 20th to November 23rd, 2025
1. Overview
CaraCo Development Corporation (“CaraCo”) is running a limited-time holiday promotion to celebrate the Kingston Santa Parade and give back to the community. The promotion encourages participants to follow @caracohomes on Instagram for a chance to win a $250 gift card to Heist and to support the St. Vincent de Paul Society through CaraCo’s charitable donation pledge.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada, aged 18 or older.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of CaraCo are not eligible to win the prize.
No purchase is necessary to participate.
3. How to Participate
Follow @caracohomes on Instagram between [start date] and [end date] (“Promotion Period”).
Each new follower during the Promotion Period will automatically:
a) Count toward CaraCo’s $1 donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and
b) Be entered into a draw to win one (1) $250 Heist gift card.
Only followers with public profiles visible at the time of the draw are eligible for prize selection.
4. Donation Commitment
CaraCo will donate $1 to the St. Vincent de Paul Society for every new Instagram follower gained during the Promotion Period.
The maximum total donation will be capped at $10,000 CAD.
Donation value will be based on the verified increase in followers as recorded at the end of the Promotion Period.
5. Prize Details
One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible followers after the Promotion Period.
The prize consists of one (1) $250 CAD gift card to Heist.
The winner will be notified by direct message on Instagram within 7 days of the draw.
The winner must respond within 72 hours to claim the prize. Failure to respond will result in disqualification and a new winner being drawn.
The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
6. Publicity & Acknowledgement
By participating, entrants agree that CaraCo may announce the winner’s first name, last initial and photo, on its social media or website for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7. General Conditions
CaraCo reserves the right to verify eligibility, disqualify entries, and modify or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice if necessary.
CaraCo is not responsible for any technical issues, errors, or Instagram outages that may interfere with participation.
By participating, entrants release Heist and CaraCo from any liability arising from participation or prize use.
8. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this promotion.
